Hi, I’m Christy! The stylist and colorist behind Painted Babes. I’m a wife, mom of three, homeschool mom, animal lover, creator at heart, and I’ve also been lucky enough to spend the last 18+ years doing what I love behind the chair.I specialize in dimensional color, balayage, lived-in blondes and brunettes, gray coverage, and customized cuts. Earlier in my career, I spent seven years as a Wella Color Educator and received advanced training at Wella studios in New York City and California. That experience shaped the way I do hair today, combining a strong foundation in color theory and technique with an eye for creating beautiful, customized results.Outside of the salon, life is usually a mix of kids, dogs, goats, chickens, ducks…and a little bit of chaos. I love the beach, cooking, music, reading, working out, being outside, decorating, rehabbing furniture, and pretty much anything creative. I’m a homebody at heart, but I’ll always say yes to a good concert, a day on the boat, or traveling and making memories with my family.Hair has been a huge part of my life for almost two decades, but there’s a whole lot of life I love outside of the salon too. If you sit in my chair long enough, you’ll probably hear about most of it!I currently welcome clients at my private studio, with select appointments available in Poughkeepsie, New York. I look forward to having you in my chair. ♡

I understand that sometimes plans change. All clients receive a reminder text and/or email 48 hours prior to their appointment.
